Last we had this Mini Country Man in for hard to select 3rd gear. We removed the gear box and found the clutch plate looked to be in good condition.
We sent the gear box away to get check which also came back back as no fault found. This was strange scenario as the clutch looked ok and the gear box had no fault.
We replaced the 3 piece clutch kit which fixed the problem. This was an unusual repair as the cluthc must have had a fault that wasn't visable to the eye and was also only affect 3rd gear selection.
