This week at 1Stop Motor Shop in Newtownabbey, we had a customer bring in their Ford Mondeo due to the air conditioning not working.
Using our advanced A/C diagnostic equipment and UV dye leak testing, we quickly identified the problem — a leaking condenser. The UV dye highlighted the issue clearly, confirming a replacement was needed.
The A/C condenser is a crucial component that cools refrigerant and allows your air con to blow cold air. If it leaks or fails, the system loses pressure and stops working effectively — leaving you hot and uncomfortable on summer drives.
We removed the faulty condenser and replaced it with a brand-new, high-efficiency unit. The difference is clear — just look at the photo above comparing the new and old condensers.
Once installed, we recharged the A/C system and ran a performance test. The result? Ice cold air and one happy customer.
